Ho Son Fat
Doctor of Surgery, graduated from the Medical School of Jinan University in Guangzhou and the Graduate School of China Medical University. Began clinical work in urology in 1992. Has experience in general urology, pediatric urology, neurourology, and andrology.
Academic Achievements:
Co-authored the translation of "Textbook of the Neurogenic Bladder (Adults and Children)" with Professor Wang Ping of China Medical University.
In 2000, Dr. Ho pioneered the "Sacral Nerve Modulation Technique" for treating lower urinary tract dysfunction in Asia. In 2006 and 2007, he invented the "Continuous Suturing Anastomosis of Slipped Bladder and Urethral Junction" technique and the "Laparoscopic Removal of Bladder Mucosa for Urethral Reconstruction" technique in laparoscopic radical prostatectomy and intestinal bladder reconstruction, respectively.
In 2024, Macau, following South Korea and Japan, acquired the da Vinci Single-Port Surgical Robot in Asia, and Dr. Ho pioneered da Vinci Single-Port Robotic Urological Surgery.
