The Greater Bay Area Society of Paediatric Urology and Continence (GBASPUC)
Dear Colleagues,
The Greater Bay Area Society of Paediatric Urology and Continence (GBASPUC) is a public welfare, non-profit, and purely academic society registered in Hong Kong in 2021. GBASPUC is composed of experts in pediatric urology and urinary control, nurses, and research scientists. With concerted efforts, all members are committed to promoting the development of the specialty of pediatric urology and pelvic floor control in the Greater Bay Area and beyond.
The Greater Bay Area is a dynamic economic and innovation hub, rich with resources from Hong Kong, Macao, and the nine cities of Guangdong. This provides a unique environment for medical advancement.
The core strength of GBASPUC lies in its ability to fully integrate and leverage the synergistic advantages of this region: it combines Hong Kong’s international perspective and research advantages with the profound clinical experience and pioneering spirit of mainland institutions. In doing so, it enables unparalleled multidisciplinary research, education, and clinical collaboration in the field of pediatric urology and pelvic floor disorders.
GBASPUC has 12 council members and oversees three professional sub-committees, namely the GBASPUC Continence Committee (GBASPUC-CC), the GBASPUC Urology Committee (GBASPUC-UC), and the GBASPUC Nursing Committee (GBASPUC-NC). Each committee consists of 30 members.
Joining GBASPUC is more than just becoming a member; it means integrating into a close-knit family dedicated to excellence and collaboration. We warmly welcome you to participate in our educational programs, webinars, and academic seminars. Together, we will not only exchange knowledge within the Greater Bay Area but also strengthen interactions with international societies, learn from world-renowned experts, and bring world-class practices to our region.
