holds dual medical doctorates from China and Denmark. He is a professor/chief physician in surgery (urology/pediatric urology), a doctoral supervisor, and a recipient of the State Council Special Allowance
Major academic positions include:
Standing Committee Member of the Urodynamics Committee and the Children's Urodynamics Committee (ICCS) of the International Continence Society (ICS), and Head of the First National Pediatric Urodynamics and Pelvic Floor Group of the Chinese Medical Association's Pediatric Surgery Branch.
Academic Achievements:
He has led 4 National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) general projects, 1 NSFC joint key project, and several research projects funded by the Ministry of Health and Henan Province. He has published over 700 articles (original articles, reviews, and conference abstracts), including over 200 SCI-indexed papers, with the highest single-article impact factor being 44 (Lancet). He is the chief editor of 10 books, including the world's first clinical urodynamics in children and adolescents, *Clinical Urodynamics in Childhood and Adolescence*, and my country's first *Pediatric Urodynamics* and *Atlas of Pediatric Urodynamics*.
In 2001, China's first pediatric urodynamics center was established at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University. Over the past 20 years, he has guided the establishment of more than 100 urodynamics centers nationwide and trained more than 5,000 urodynamics medical professionals. The diagnosis and treatment of pediatric voiding dysfunction using urodynamics has reached international advanced levels.
